About The Kozey OT
Hi, I’m Taylor!
I went from weather girl to occupational therapist, and somewhere along the way, I started collecting all the things I wish someone had handed me sooner.
The Kozey OT is where I share them :)
From OT school to the first job, from the clinic to academia, and all the little things nobody really explains along the way, this is a place for practical advice, useful resources, and a little less figuring-it-out-alone.
What you’ll find here
Resources for OT students, new grads, practicing clinicians, and fieldwork educators. The things that make you better at what you do, more confident in how you do it, and a little more prepared for whatever comes next (because life really is like a box of chocolates).
Think of it as the stuff that builds on what you learn in school and on the job. It’s not a replacement for either, just the things I’ve learned and gathered along the way.

I’ve worked in neurologic rehabilitation across inpatient, outpatient, community, and private practice settings, including travel therapy. These days, I’m an assistant professor and academic fieldwork coordinator in an OT program.
Basically, I’ve spent time on a lot of sides of the profession - and I care about making the path a little easier to navigate for the people coming up behind me! Oh and I REALLY love OT.
That’s what The Kozey OT is all about.
